About the Position:
This position is responsible for coordinating and assuring development and delivery of regulatory, ratemaking, terms of reference, testimony and regulatory response activities for the Customer organization in support of the rate case proceedings for the company’s US regulated businesses.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Coordinate Company’s rate case filing preparation with internal constituents. Prepare, or assist with planning of activities necessary to develop, track and meet all critical delivery milestones.
Engage with Regulatory and Legal on all rate case plans to understand, translate and communicate the requirements within the Customer team to support all filings.
Manage the internal trackers and KPI’s to assure delivery of required tasks and information.
Drive the responsiveness to all regulatory inquiries to assure on time responsiveness.
Leverage cross company and organization findings and data and responses to enable best practice and consistency in testimony and responses.
Develop and maintain a set of rate case data that can support rate cases and inquiries on an ongoing basis.
Lead necessary Hub reviews to engage teams on recognition of risks and ways to correct course to meet milestones.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, engineering, or related field required. An advanced degree is preferable.
5 or more years of related experience in utility core delivery areas, gas or electric,project management experience, finance, or accounting preferred.
Strong organizer and communicator w/ project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Proficient in collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information, and drawing logical conclusions.
Familiarity with customer billing systems is helpful.
Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing applications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
