The DVP, Kmart Marketing Content will provide thought leadership as well as implementation leadership to drive significant improvement of the communication strategy, design, editorial content, of all off-line and on-line communication of the Kmart Brand. This executive leader will provide oversight and overall leadership for content strategy, content management, and execution. This position will drive the on-line “crowd sourcing” and smart curating of creative concepts for content. The position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer, Kmarts Brand, and will interact with team leaders in Corporate Business Unit Marketing, Technology, On-line Business Unit
Manage work flow to ensure on-time delivery, and eliminate costly last-minute rush and rework. Given the scope and complexity of the multiple product categories, and multiple channels, work flow management is critical to on-time and on-budget completion of initiatives.
Establish and communicate creative standards and guidelines, to ensure consistency in creative output by the Business Units, as well as third-party vendors ad partners.
Oversees cross-functional and cross-divisional collaboration on project management, execution and achievement of business results.
Ensures client satisfaction and maintain awareness of potential client opportunities.
Ensures the staffing across project teams is synergistic and allows for realization of business objectives to include Business Operating Profit (BOP) and Revenue objectives.
Supports the delivery of customer facing products on time and on budget that enable unbridled growth in the integrated retail space allowing for SHC to be the leader in this space.
Monitors overall team activities, performance, budgets, milestones, roadmaps and funding.
Effectively interacts with peers in executive management and leads teams through transformational change with a positive and collaborative approach.
