This position is located in Melbourne, FL. A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates.


This position is for an Undergraduate Technical Intern position assisting in development of code in an embedded environment. Tasks will include developing, integrating, testing and documenting functionality. Additionally, there will be opportunities to work with engineering to investigate and isolate potential issues and then developing solutions to those issues. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL working with a team with software, hardware, & systems engineers.


U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

The candidate must be adaptable to change, determined to accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions, enjoy learning new technologies, be willing to participate in documentation activities, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Ideal candidates will possess technical expertise in software engineering domain areas and other skills including:

• Experience in C & C
• Working knowledge of hardware/software interfaces
• Programming in a real-time environment
• Analysis - Understands elementary problem-solving techniques.
• Cooperation - Understands the value of cooperating with coworkers.
• Delegating and Directing - Follows directions as provided by leadership.
• Detail Orientation - Understands the importance of monitoring the status and quality of one's own work.
• Judgment - Appreciates the importance of basing decisions on factual information and sound logic.
• Listening - Understands fundamental communication styles and techniques.
• Time Management - Maintains an organized daily calendar.

In addition, the candidate would also have background in networking including understanding and/or experience with the following:
• Basic understanding of IP networking
• Previous experience with network analysis tools such as tcpdump, wireshark.
• Experience in various scripting languages and script programming (ie Python, Javascript).
• Experience with managing many tasks and communicating with other interns and engineers.

The candidate is required to have excellent communications skills to communicate technical issues and status in both written and oral form.
