This position is located in Richardson, Texas. A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates.

Rockwell Collins is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Engineering Intern position to collaborate on the design and development of algorithms for impulse noise filters and a test framework using an Android tablet front end user interface. The project will allow the candidate to explore and innovate in an agile development environment. The candidate should be an inventive, forward-thinking individual with unique architecture and design ideas. Additionally, the candidate should be self-motivated and willing to work in a fast paced environment as part of a dynamic software development team.


Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Candidates must have the following experience:
• Electrical Engineering or closely related field
• Experience in hardware lifecycle disciplines including design, implementation, and test

The following experience is desirable:
• Experience designing interactive graphical user interfaces
• Hardware requirements capture and decomposition
• Familiar with RF concepts
• Experience with RF filter algorithms

Candidates should possess the following attributes:
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Drive and self-motivation
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to learn quickly
• Sharp analytical skills with strong attention to detail
