Triatic - Physical Targeter (Job Number:424781)
Analyze sites for operational suitability based on geographic location, meteorological conditions, local activities, and operational constraints. Prepare and contribute to operational planning documents to include physical characterization of work sites, the identification of local conditions that could influence operations, and the development of mitigation efforts supporting operations. Provide assessments and prepare reports related to specific and potential operational sites.
Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI) to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs. Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.). Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and the senior leadership as well. May focus on domestic as well as international threats. Considered to be a recognized authority in this area of expertise. Intelligence analysis may include; IMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, HUMINT, or MASINT. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. May support development and analysis of intelligence products. Presents analysis or products to customers. May support policy and procedures development for agency, interagency, or community wide support. Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by supervisor/lead to measure meeting objectives. Directs established guidelines, procedures and policies. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of the variety of factors. FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. IMPACT: Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in allocation of additional resources. LIASON: Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational andoutside customer contacts on routine matters.
Required Education & Experience:
BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Two (2) plus years experience supporting field activities; knowledge and experience with operational activities Technical writing and oral communication skills; possess the ability to apply domain expertise with proper context.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.
