ManTech International Corporation is looking to hire an experienced Senior Material Manager to support our U.S. Government Agency customer in multiple locations CONUS or OCONUS. This position will require the chosen candidate to currently possess an active DOD ? Top Secret Security Clearance.


LOCATION: Varied CONUS and OCONUS locations.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The qualified candidate will look to work closely within a team environment. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to articulate well, be extremely tactful and reserved when in communication with all levels of leadership and will be assigned multiple complex projects that will directly impact their program by managing projects from start to finish.


QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST HAVE an active DOD ? Top Secret Security Clearance for customer consideration.
  • MUST obtain a pre-deployment DoS Medical Clearance upon hire.
  • This specific management role will require self-motivation, quality performance, decision making and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and will look to coordinate all aspects of program materials and provide expert guidance on equipment.
  • Must be able to develop or maintain analytical systems to organize, track, and account for systems, project material, and assets in support of DS operations world-wide. Material Managers are the focal point for all material processing and logistics for all security technology-related programs, including using the Diplomatic Security (DS) work management system (currently CMMS/ILMS) to track and manage assets and other materials.
  • Must be able to work with other technical teammates to input and process Bills of Material and Purchase Requests using the DS work management system, and route them for approval.
  • Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision. Must demonstrate the ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a cohesive team. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 3-years of technical and related experience.
  • Minimum of 8-years of expert guidance to oversee the engineering, integration, testing, fielding, sustainment, material management, logistics, and configuration management of various security technology-related programs.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint). Supervisory responsibilities associated with this position include supervision of professional, technical, and labor staff.
  • Must be a team player, well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • There may be required travel OCONUS to diplomatic of which may include critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions. Domestic travel may also be required.
  • Other duties as assigned or directed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor?s degree required in related field ? i.e. ? Information Technology, Computer Science OR in lieu of degree, 10+ years of related work experience may be considered.
