The Curriculum and Faculty Development (CFD) Knowledge Management Specialist supports the Leader Development Branch (LDB) Knowledge Management Specialist with the execution and enforcement of LDB knowledge Management standards and processes. The CFD Knowledge Management Specialist also designs, develops and maintains appropriate information and knowledge sharing processes internal to CFD; and shares information and knowledge with LDB HQ and with other teams in LDB as directed. The CFD Knowledge Management Specialist is the resident automation, Information Technology (IT) and associated software expert. He facilitates the seamless exchange of information across sections, in particular between CFD development sections and the Quality Assurance/Control Quality (QACQ) section, and between functional elements or databases through both technical and procedural means.
Education Level: Bachelor?s Degree preferred; Master?s Degree desired. A combination of jobsite experience and education may be substituted.
Experience: Experience in Knowledge Management activities.
Specific Knowledge, Skill, Abilities Requirement: Proficient in IT aspects related to Knowledge Management and must be proficient in all aspects of computer technology hardware and software. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software with emphasis on Excel and Outlook, etc. Proficiency with project Management software is desired. Must possess a valid US driver?s license.
