Senior Technical Project Manager
Seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the technical integration project for 3rd Party software applications integrating with CGI?s existing IP application. This role requires in-depth technical architecture and integration experience with the ability analyze complex issues, architect viable solutions, promote simplification and reuse, and communicate with clients using business terms.
Experience required includes:
Minimum of 10 years? experience in technical development of IT applications, including knowledge in:
o Technical Architecture
o Software integration
o Implementation of business technology solutions
o Full software development lifecycle, using agile and waterfall methodologies
Minimum of 7 years in managing IT projects
o At least two IT projects of 15-20 team members
o Experience managing external partners / vendors
o Ability to build trust and communicate with Director and VP levels
o IT Outsourcing experience is desired
o Experience applying PMI and ITIL management principles
Preferred Technical experience in the following areas:
o Solution Architecture and Strategy
o Solution and Technical Architecture
o Enterprise Application Architecture
o Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services
o Object Oriented Development (e.g., Java, C++)
o Database Architecture (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)
o Cloud Services
o Enterprise Infrastructure Services
Cross Industry Experience in 2 or more industries such as:
o Government Health and Human Services
o Asset Management
o Financial Accounting
o Commercial Retail
o Oil and Gas Utilities
