About the Position:
Providesupport to management in preparing electric and gas distribution revenuerequirements analysis and related tasks as needed. Lead role involvesproviding guidance to junior members of the electric and gas revenuerequirements team.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of Rate Case costs of service and associated discovery responses, periodic regulatory filings and analysis as required by the individual state jurisdictions and any other ad hoc analysis as required. May be required to support testimony as Company?s expert witness in various regulatory proceedings.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field. Three to five years of utility regulatory or accounting/finance experience.
Must be proficient with Excel and Word, and knowledgeable with all Microsoft Suite applications.
Must perform effectively in a team environment and demonstrate managerial skills.
Ability to interpret regulatory orders in terms of precedent setting directives which will affect the Company, is highly desired.
Must be able to adapt to the evolving nature of the electric and gas distribution businesses.
Demonstrate extreme attention to detail as work product is often provided to regulators in support of Company?s revenue streams or settlement reporting requirements.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and confidence in interacting with regulators and NGRID management.
Lead Analysts would be expected to provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Lead Analysts would be expected to serve as a Company expert witness on revenue requirements matters once relevant proficiency in role has been achieved.
