Training Analyst PMS 406 - Washington, DC (Job Number:429493)
This position requires a strong working knowledge of unmanned Surface MCM systems, Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) MCM Tactics, Organic Post Mission Analysis (OPMA) and their associated training curriculum.
The candidate will perform the following duties in a schoolhouse environment and onboard ships:
Schedule vendor training sessions and ensure all facilities and Technical Training Equipment (TTE) and material are ready and available for use on the designated training date.
Assign personnel and monitor the development of informal training curriculum, which is then presented to MCM MP Detachment fleet Sailors in the classroom, laboratories and onboard LCS.
Coordinate the development of formal training curriculum efforts to U.S. Navy formal training standards and ensures compliance with Naval Education and Training (NAVEDTRA) 130(series) and 131(series) guidelines.
Instruct fleet Sailors in the operation of various MCM MP systems now in development, including Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), AN/WLD-1(V)2 Remote Mine Hunting System, Knifefish UUV and other PMS 406 systems.
Supervise the implementation and evaluation of active and archived courses, and continue to provide inputs to Navy Enlisted Classifications Manual, Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC), Crew Scheduling and Phasing Plan (CSPP) and Navy Training System Plans (NTSP) IAW 1500.76C.
Review the MCM MP Operator training (Lesson Plans, Instructor Guides, Student Handbooks, and supporting training aids) utilizing MIL HDBK 29612 and NAVEDTRA standards.
Participate in training working groups, meetings, and In-Process Reviews (IPRs).
Provide technical expertise and participate in the development of Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) for the LCS Mission Package (MP).
Review and manage technical manual effort for Class IV Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and Combat System Operation Sequencing System (CSOSS) for the PMS 406 systems.
Coordinate the integrated technical manual changes from systems IETM into the schoolhouse curriculum.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Business or Engineering & 5 years of related Acquisition Training Experience; High School Diploma & 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
Level I DAWIA Certification Logistics
Secret clearance required
