About the position:
TheMobility Center of Excellence(MCoE) Director is responsible for leading a Center ofExcellence that will capture learnings, best practices, and referencearchitectures from mobility projects within the company. In addition tocollecting this information, the COE will be responsible for to acceleratingthe adoption of mobility within the company.
The MCoE Director ensures that the mobile needs of the business arebalanced against the technology requirements to service those mobileapplications. The Director will overseeboth technical and business staff to marshal mobile efforts and deliverlong-term rewards to the company.
Job responsibilities including but not limited to:
Review,evaluate, and approve mobility projects
Providetechnology expertise and leadership direction to the business authoring mobilitybest practices
Facilitatemobility training and technical support
Offerthought leadership, consul on mobile technology, and provide metrics reportingand support
Demonstrateforward thinking to identify key trends, understand the business? strategiesand develop and deliver mobility solutions and content that meet business needsand latest trends
Identify,source, mine, and leverage external data to achieve identified outcomes
Manageenhancements to the mobility platforms
Identifyand recommend additional Mobility platforms, tools, and methodologies toimprove the efficiency and effectiveness of analytic timeliness, accuracy,presentation formats and/or content
Collectand analyze information on internal and external attributes that are drivers ofdecision made broadly across operations, finance, technology, human resource,or other business
Drive the vision, strategy, roadmap and implementation of performanceindicators and supporting metrics and trends for Mobility solutions
Seek out continuous improvement opportunities and provide input andrecommendations
Lead continuous improvement efforts

Job Dimensions:
Responsible for developing,implementing and managing company?s mobile strategy
Work withother business unit leaders to enable their mobile projects to succeed
Main Interfaces:
Reportsto the USIS senior leadership and business stakeholders
Collaborateswith project teams to enable solution delivery success
CommunicateMobility COE goals and vision to executive leadership
Qualifications
Knowledge,Experience & Technical Know How:
Experience
8-10 years? progressive experience in applicationdevelopment, mobile programming, mobility applications and strategy development
Previous supervisory or leadership experience
Experience inworking in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at the seniorleadership levels of a company
Experience in managing complex web and mobility applications
Demonstrated strategicplanning, managing and delivering customer-focused business solutions
Demonstrated management skills, exemplaryanalytic capabilities
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor?s degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or relateddiscipline with 5-8 years of practical experience (required).
Master?s degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related discipline andrelevant experience architecting complex solutions (preferred).
Knowledge & Technical Know-how:

High degree ofproficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent writingproficiency, visual design, and presentation skills required
Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills
Demonstratedanalytical and problem solving skills
Prior experience managing Mobilityimplementations, upgrades, transitions
Strong working knowledge of Mobility (xCode,Ajax, J2ME), Web (Content Management, PHP, Perl, MySQL, HTML5), Collaboration(Sharepoint) applications within the context of Utilities and/or otherregulated industries
Experience leveraging criticalthinking and exposure to change management principles
Excellent writingproficiency, visual design, and presentation skills required
