Macfadden is seeking a General Clerk III with strong administrative experience with Navy specific software. This position will serve a key role in supporting the Southeast Regional
Maintenance Center (SERMC), Naval Station Mayport, Florida.

LOCATION: Naval Station Mayport, Florida
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE: Supervisory Desk (SUPDESK), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), TAAS-Info and Business Objects tools

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, charts and graphs
? Prepare meeting minutes and presentations
? File and records management
? Enter, update and retrieve information utilizing automated systems
? Prepare correspondence, instructions and memorandums
? Assist in material ordering, pickup and delivery of supplies
? Enter, update and retrieve information utilizing automated systems
? Enter labor hours for department employees
? Assist department in maintaining records of leave, attendance, and overtime

EDUCATION
? High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate

EXPERIENCE
? Five (5) years experience providing administrative support.
? Experience performing database updates in Supervisory Desk (SUPDESK), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), TAAS-Info and Business Objects tools.
? Experience using Material Requirements Application Tool (MRQT).
? Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
? Experience using sound judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps that vary in nature and sequence.
? Ability to interpret substantive guides, manuals or procedures.
? Experience maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records, verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness, and handling and adjusting complaints.
? Must be able to multi-task/meet demands of an unpredictable schedule of assignments and competing priorities.
? Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability in leading communications with all levels of management internal and external to the company.
? Exceptional oral and written communication skills.


Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
