Position Responsibilities
We seek a full time, On-Site Client Support Technician to provide IT Help Desk Services in Support of the U.S. Air Force in Oklahoma City, OK. This position assists customers at Tinker Air Force Base with technical Support of desktop computers, applications and related technology. In particular, we are seeking experienced CSTs to provide On-Site Windows 10 deployment service to Tinker AFB customers. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, responsive, reliable, and detail-oriented.
?Provide On-Site Windows 10 deployment service.
?Assist with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software as needed.
?Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated file and email servers, etc.
?Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines (SOPs) to perform Job functions.
?Primary Job functions typically require exercising independent judgment.
?Serve as point of contact for troubleshooting network, hardware/software PC, and printer problems.
?Offer assistance via remote desktop or at customer?s location and follow problems to resolution.
?Log and report data On the number and type of calls received.
?Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
?Provide Support to end users On a variety of issues.
?Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical Support.
?Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
?Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment.
?Determine and recommend which products or services best fit customer needs.
?Ensure equipment is properly installed, problems are properly identified, and solutions implemented to satisfy user requirements.
?When possible, recover data from system crash.
?Must be able to lift twenty-five pounds.
?Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Must possess CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
* Must possess or be eligible for a DoD SECRET security clearance.
* Must have knowledge and experience with client hardware and software, including Windows 10.
* Experience providing IT help desk services in a DoD environment preferred.
* Helpdesk or call center experience preferred.
* Industry certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) preferred.
* Working knowledge of Remedy Management System preferred.
