SAIC is seeking to hire a SharePoint Developer to support a Federal Civilian client in Washington, DC

Job Duties:

- Operates as a member of a SharePoint team that supports an independent agency of the United States government. The team operates within the agency?s Information Technology Infrastructure Operations Department (ITIOD).
- Specializes in SharePoint no- code/composite/out-of-the-box solution development (e.g. custom lists, SharePoint Designer workflows) with some custom development (e.g. event receivers) and scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript).
- Work within the SharePoint team and with business sponsors and stakeholders to conceive, design, develop, test, implement, and support SharePoint solutions:
- Manage and track to successful completion assignments within the team?s development Sprints
- Gather, document, circulate for review, and revise solution requirements
- Create solution design documentation and solution patterns that can be reused by others
- Create SharePoint solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Conduct group and individual user training for newly implemented and modified solutions
- Troubleshoot and enhance pre-existing solutions developed by yourself or others
- Maintain solution requirement, design, and usage documentation along with procedural work instructions Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist with the promotion of SharePoint within the agency
- Assist in the development of content management best practices and governance
- Provide end user support for SharePoint sites and solutions
- Assist in the development of SharePoint end-user training materials
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance activities
- Develop, implement, and manage a taxonomy for content storage and retrieval- working with business users and stakeholders

Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelors and 5 years of related experience or 9 years of related experience without the degree.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- 5 years of experience developing SharePoint composite/no-code solutions consisting of Web Parts, Lists, Libraries, and Workflows using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
- Experience with SharePoint Server 2013/2016 and/or SharePoint Online
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience in evaluating current business processes and determining technical solutions using SharePoint to improve those processes
- Experience in developing SharePoint solutions using Visio, Access, and/or PowerShell
- Good communicator with ability to explain complex concepts in plain language, generate enthusiasm, and communicate with all levels of management and staff
- Client oriented and have good customer care skills, understanding clients' needs and concerns
- Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables
- Successfully manage multiple tasks involving planned projects and ad-hoc tasks
- Be motivated, independent and self-sufficient, able to see tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
