This position will support the F16 Iraq Program in Tucson, Az.

Ordnance build-up technician: Responsibilities include; assembling, maintaining, storing, delivering and inventory management of nonnuclear munitions and solid propellants typically carried on F-16 aircraft. It also includes inspecting, assembling, maintaining, inventory management, and modernizing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and high explosive components of weapons and warheads, air launched missiles and associated test equipment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in his career field. Candidate must have at least 4 years? experience with F-16 aircraft maintenance activities. Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. Assignment location is in Tucson, Az.

Basic Qualifications
Fighter Aircraft Ordnance Maintenance

Desired skills
USAF 7 level or equivalent

Inspecting, assembling, maintaining, inventory management, and modernizing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and high explosive components of weapons and warheads, air launched missiles and associated test equipment.

A strong understanding of the munitions maintenance process.

Perform routine system troubleshooting, installation and repair.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access).

Ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing.

Min 4 years documented experience on the F-16 Aircraft / systems.
