The candidate will work alongside the customer providing network engineering support. The Network Engineering Support comprises the full scope of work from solution analysis, technology development, engineering and manufacturing development, production and deployment, operations and support across the complete end-to-end system and across the complete life cycle, in support of projects and programs for ships, submarines, aircraft, unmanned systems and shore facilities.
Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Five (5) years of DoD/DoN Information Technology (IT) experience in integrated security systems and physical control solutions to ensure C4ISR data is protected.
Experience installation security software, monitoring networks, and responding to cyber attacks, and ensuring network compliance with DoD/DoN policies.
Ability to analyze trial data/metadata of current or proposed network defense methods, tools, kill chains.
IA Training, Certification, Certification Maintenance, and continuing education necessary to meet Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) requirements for a minimum of IAM and IAT Certification Level II
