Lockheed Martin is seeking an Entry Level Image Analyst. This position supports the Government and its customers by reviewing products for quality standard compliance and ensuring customers are receiving the most accurate, relevant products they need to accomplish their missions. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
Capable of working rotational shifts as part of a 24x7 operational team
Achieve and maintain certifications in accordance with the contractor?s and customer?s formal training programs
Provide on-shift subject matter expertise in sensor processing, phenomena, and environmental effects for multiple Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Perform complex imagery processing and review
Analyze data in the application of imagery viewing and remote sensing technology to aid the Government and its community of users
Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
Monitor multiple chat rooms; providing users with production knowledge and expertise and assisting in translating their needs into available products
Execute test methodologies for production systems and their associated products
Coordinate with analysts from other disciplines
Make recommendations for innovative methods to accomplish the PQ and greater Government missions
Develop procedures for operational execution
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance
Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science and Image Science
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Demonstrated understanding of user needs and operational environments
Demonstrated capability and success working in a customer environment with a multi-contractor, geographically diverse team
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to meet time critical needs/demands with close attention to detail
Familiar with image analyst/science research methods and tools
Familiar with scripting languages and modeling tools used in data analysis and simulation
Image science expertise in analysis, processing, quality, artifact recognition, phenomenology, etc.
Willing and able to perform rotating shift schedule
