Lockheed Martin is looking for high-performing engineers for an entry-level position at the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area in Dallas, Texas. Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin?s lead business unit for research, development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, missile defense and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology. Candidates should be highly motivated and prepared to work in a cross-functional team environment. Typical tasks may include:

Development and analysis of autopilots or other controllers
Development and implementations of guidance laws
Modeling vehicle dynamics
Conducting trade studies and documentation of results
Simulation model verification and debugging
Data analysis for flight tests and hardware-in-the-loop testing

The ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor?s or Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience in controls or simulation
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Familiarity with computer programming in Matlab, C++, Fortran, or another high-level language

Desired skills
Programming experience in C++ and Fortran.
Past experience with aerospace systems.
