Orion Test & Verification Engineer. This person will be responsible for writing test success criteria, developing test procedures, scripts and test tools for FSW verification, including execution of integration tests to validate hardware to software interfaces, software to software interfaces, and functionality. The job responsibilities include analyzing the hardware, software, and system requirements and implementation; developing and testing code utilizing Model Based Design approaches; establishing development and test tools; identifying and resolving anomalies during test on various software- and system-level platforms; identifying and implementing required software modifications and participating in technical reviews/audits of software products.. The candidate will primarily provide hands-on development of verification success criteria and running Run for the Record in SOCRRATES and the VTB/ITL along with perform software engineering in all phases of the software lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test / delivery for Orion MPCV Spacecraft flight software and spacecraft testing. The candidate will be required to work with flight software development peers, subject matter experts, database developers, and test engineers.
Python experience; Troubleshooting skills; Position requires an understanding of full software lifecycle concepts including requirement definition and flow down, development skills and test concepts, and methodology.
Degree in Aero, ME, EE, CEE, Computer Science or Science.
