This position requires a Software Engineer to use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the Software field to develop, integrate, and test Software products for the F-16 Mission Planning team.
The selected candidate will be assigned to an AGILE team where they will immediately be given assignments which contribute to the development and deployment of these new capabilities. They will participate in all phases of the System Software lifecycle from supporting initial System Design concepts, Software requirements development, design, implementation, integration and test.
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions.
The successful candidate will need to pass a security screening before interview.
Must be a US Citizen. Must have an active secret clearance.
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in an engineering/technical discipline with Computer Science and Computer Engineering studies.
Seven years of experience developing Software with JAVA, C, C++, C#, SQL;
OS background to include Sun Solaris, Linux, Windows;
Object Oriented Methodologies and UML Modeling Techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
Fundamental knowledge of program planning principles.
