Manage engineering, procurement and manufacturing activity relative to the modification of prototype helicopters for the Sikorsky Development Flight Center.

As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will lead a team of engineering, material management, and manufacturing personnel throughout the modification period until the aircraft is ready for flight.

Direct interface will be required with design engineering in Stratford, CT for planning and execution of the projects. The integration of instrumentation must also be managed with close interaction with the flight test instrumentation organization. Planning, scheduling, cost tracking and presentations to management will be important elements of this role.

Basic Qualifications
A BS/BA degree is required; engineering degree is preferred

The following experience/qualifications are required:
- Minimum four years experience in helicopter engineering and manufacturing.
- A strong ability to lead a diverse team of salary and hourly personnel in a fast paced environment.
-Strong team building, problem solving and collaboration skills.

Desired skills
Microsoft Project experience preferred.
