ManTech is looking for an AV Technician to join our team onsite. We are seeking an AV Technician who can provide support for campus AV/VC environments. As well as someone who has the ability to confidently and quickly analyze problems using technical diagnostic skill sets, in order to effectively support and resolve issues. Technical responsibilities include high profile event support, audio, video, conferencing technology, projects, maintenance, support. General Responsibilities:
Installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, or programming of numerous Audio Visual Systems
Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems.
Investigate faults and recommend further actions to rectify.
Carry out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure, including morning, evening, monthly and lamp life checks.
Ensure that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner.
Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
Carry out first line fault repairs.
Carry out all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments.
Maintain an accurate portable AV equipment asset inventory.
Install projector lamps on an as needed basis.
Managing designated videoconferencing & audio visual facilities, systems maintenance, operations and administration of client standards of video, audio and web conferencing services
Installing small or portable video conference & non-integrated audio visual hardware
Provide training and client support to users in the operations of videoconferencing & audio visual systems
Compiling room and equipment inventory for the client?s database
Full knowledge of clients conferencing standards
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
Ability to work effectively under pressure and often independently
Direct telephone interaction with user community and business unit professionals
Excellent technical knowledge of teleconferencing, presentation, and other AV hardware
Comprehensive hands-on AV equipment troubleshooting experience.
Extensive equipment support experience ideally with Cisco / Polycom equipment.
Mechanically and electronically inclined.
Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
· Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.

Working knowledge of audio and visual conference room equipment.
Cisco Video Systems experience.
Experience on multiple operating system platforms (Windows, Linux and/or Mac).
Data/LCD & HD projection, sound, integrated control systems and video conferencing, telephone conferencing equipment and presentation software and setup (including MS PowerPoint, Mac technology and Mac Software).
ISDN, VoIP and other telecommunications networks and equipment.
Current service suppliers and equipment in the marketplace and latest technological advances and innovations.
· Excellent customer relations skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Working knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems is required.
Strong background in electronics and low voltage integration or solid job history/tenure working for an established A/V contractor.
Audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications is a plus (Polycom, AMX, Crestron, NEC, Bi-AMP, etc.)
