Performs integrated logistics warehouse and Inventory management duties and responsibilities associated with Supply Chain Management, including, but not limited to performing strategic demand analysis utilizing forecasting models to analyze and monitor Inventory levels, Inventory positioning, planned production, and capture Material usage trends in support of the USAF and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer. Candidate will support program management by compiling and analyzing program and operational information for the USAF Industrial Product Support Vendor (IPV) Program. Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports using advanced software and web based solutions, and interpret and clearly explain program and Inventory performance measurement metrics and reports to program, customer, and senior leadership. In addition, the candidate will work closely with three Logistic Distribution Centers (LDCs) to perform business intelligence and Inventory control to include forecasting Inventory and demand requirements, analyzing performance metrics and data to accurately identify issues and make sound business decisions and actionable recommendations to reduce program cost and drive performance.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance prior to starting.
The following are required skills:
- Bachelors Degree with 2 years related experience or 5 years related experience without a Bachelor's degree
Related experience must involve the following::
- Material Planning/ Material Forecasting experience
- At least 2 years of data analysis experience
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience interfacing directly with government customers
The following are desired but not required:
Experience with SCM+ & Crystal reports
Warehouse/ Logistics experience
Supply Chain knowledge & experience
Just-in-time (JIT) production
Knowledge and understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) theory and practices
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Gain/possess MS Project knowledge to provide Material backup & scheduling support, as required.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Experience with government software (EMall, FedMall, etc)
Strong use and knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivots, calculations, etc.)
Experience with data management and analysis/business intelligence
Experience working with SQL a plus
Use of relational database a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Detailed and process oriented
Ability to work with minimal supervision
