Responsibilities

This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S.

 

We're seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in ITSM (IT Service Management) and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that enhance our service delivery capabilities and optimize our IT infrastructure management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions focusing on ITSM modules
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow functionality through scripting, workflow configurations, and integrations
  • Maintain CMDB to ensure accurate tracking of IT assets and their relationships
  • Develop and optimize ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all ServiceNow implementations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and governance standards
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support


Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with focus on ITSM and CMDB
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and processes
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web services (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting using both client-side and server-side scripts
  • Demonstrated expertise in CMDB maintenance and ServiceNow Discovery
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB
  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting
  • Knowledge of integration technologies (MID Server, Integration Hub)
  • Experience with CI/CD practices for ServiceNow implementations
  • Background in IT operations or service desk environments
