Job Description:
?The Data Quality Analyst will conduct trending and analysis to identify data patterns and quality inconsistencies. ?Monitor and maintain Data Quality website, address inquiries and provide customer feedback. Analyze tools and techniques for data quality, assess data quality metrics based on customer requirements to determine data quality hot points for special projects. Perform ad-hoc data quality analysis based on operational needs. Conduct algorithm verification and validation for both current and new capabilities. Compare community wide tools to ensure site systems are best possible to provide customers with required data within acceptable time limits. Provide data quality forecasting data and requirements to address requirements for future capability/system deliveries. ?Will represent the department regarding analytical issues, product reports, and other Operations support tasks in communications with peers, other departments, and customers.
Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical off-line Operations tasks and problems. Works under limited, and sometimes no supervision. Will follow established procedures. The employee must exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and strive to maintain constructive working relationships. May be called upon to work overtime.

Required Skills:

Requires willingness and availability to work a variety of fluctuating schedules - Monday through Friday day shifts, 12 hours on/12 hours off, rotating four days on/four days off.
Must be willing to maintain certification by working a minimum of 2 pro-shifts within every 30 day period. Requires a minimum of two years of directly applicable work experience. Requires two years experience performing satellite mission support in a near real-time Operations environment. Requires two years of experience monitoring the activities of satellites. Two years using analytical skills and demonstrating mature technical judgment. Requires experience working directly with customers. Must be able to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor (specifically red, blue, white and green).

Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in an open environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers is ordinary.
Highly motivated individual with strong work ethic.

Required Education (including Major):
Requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering subject and 2 years of related experience, or 10 years of equivalent related experience without a degree.
