The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product development, producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.
The candidate will work within Optics and Laser ? Integrated Products department of the Hardware Engineering Center. Specific responsibilities may include:
The chosen candidate will learn and apply of technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations to a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Senior year OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2018. Must be working towards a degree in Optical Engineering, Laser Physics, or equivalent technical discipline with emphasis in Optics or Lasers.
