On-site Industrial Security Representative Sr. at the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Sunnyvale, California.

-Provide facility support to the Space Protection Programs and Advanced Mission Studies Mission Areas.
-Develop and administers security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents and equipment.
-Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
-Obtains rulings, interpretations and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
-Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing and keeping records and for granting personnel and visitor?s access to restricted records and materials.
-Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision in high-stress, fast-paced, multi-program environment.
-Interface with business unit management, engineering staff and customer reps to design and implement security measures as outlined within the DoD 5205.07, ICD, NISPOM and other program-specific security directives. -Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
-Prepare security plans outlining regulations and established procedures for all areas of the security department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-All aspects of security to include personnel, physical, technical, visitor control and classification management. -Develop security education programs and conduct security training.
-Investigate security incidents and violations; prepare reports of investigations for management and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
-Prepare operating procedures outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for the handling, storing and transportation of program assets.
-Assisting with document and program asset management and accountability.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship required.

Basic Qualifications
Active Top Secret/SSBI Security Clearance with current CI Poly.

Must be able to make independent decisions and work with minimal direct supervision while representing the security organization.

Demonstrated knowledge of NISPOM/DCID/DoD 5205.07 series documents.

Good working knowledge of OPSEC and Counterintelligence.

Some program travel may be required. Must be available to respond after hours and be on call.

Desired skills
Prior SAP/SAR/SCI experience. Demonstrated experience in INFOSEC, OPSEC, and Counterintelligence. Previous experience supporting life-cycle security requirements from proposal to contract close-out. Able to manage multiple security protection levels existing on a program is a plus.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical to the success of this position.

Candidate must be self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with senior level internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations and decisions on a daily basis is essential.
