Job Description:
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

This position is responsible for the environmental testing, both temperature and vibration, of a wide variety of Raytheon-built product, and the electrical maintenance of a complex variety of environmental chambers and vibration tables. The candidate will troubleshoot equipment problems down to the component level with only minimum documentation for the equipment.

In the performance of the position?s duties, the candidate will interface with various internal groups such as Engineering, program management, laboratory management, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, as well as outside vendors.

The individual needs to be able to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot electrical problems down to the component level, and be familiar with reading and executing Raytheon test processes.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years related work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years? experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment down to the component level.
  • Minimum of 2 years? experience working in Environmental Stress Screening.
  • Operational knowledge of test equipment calibration.
  • Good communication and people skills
Desired Skills:
  • 5+ yrs of professional experience as an Electrical Technician or Electronic Troubleshooter
  • Experience with the Raytheon Visiprise Manufacturing and ARAMIS systems
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team as required.
  • Disciplined problem solving ability for all engineering tasks (testing. documentation, etc.).
Required Education (including Major):
  • High School or equivalent with 5 plus years? experience

Desired Education:
  • Associates Degree
