This Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position supports the Space Systems Company (SSC) located at the Lockheed Martin Sunnyvale Facility in Sunnyvale, CA.

This Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position supports the Space Systems Company (SSC) located at the Lockheed Martin Sunnyvale Facility in Sunnyvale, CA. This position provides UNIX/Linux (Primary) and Windows system administration services including server installation, integration and configuration of the system, as well as the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) in support of High Performance Computing (HPC) environments and requires the following abilities:
? Vulnerability remediation
? Provide 7x24 on-call rotation support
? Configuration management of Active Directory
? Coordinate alert generation tool downtime for planned outages
? Coordinate anti-virus updates
? Determine root causes of problems and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences
? Document, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade system software and hardware products per engineering specifications and at the direction SSC customer
? Management of log files
? Manage IT technology refreshes
? Manage HD/Raid array checks
? Participate in customer reviews requiring server impacts or temporary outages
? Participate in customer system stress tests
? Perform recovery and restoration of servers
? Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and systems documentation
? Provide support for Disaster Recovery planning, testing and execution
? Work closely with program to outline new hardware/software requirements

Basic Qualifications
? Experience with multiple Operating Systems (RH6.x, RH7.x)
? Manage daily server operations (LDOM, print services, permissions management, IT security & compliance, file sharing, print services administration and security patch management methodologies, etc.)
? Scripting Skills (Perl, Python, Ansible, etc.)
? Background in programming (Analytical skills, Parallel programming)
? Vulnerability Remediation and infrastructure security management.

Desired skills
? Demonstrated working knowledge on server administration for UNIX, inclusive of backup/restore, system imaging, log management, and experience upgrading server operating systems, tech refresh, imaging, configuration management, and antivirus management
? Experience with vendor communication for maintenance, repair, and upgrade
? Backup infrastructure management (hardware, software, tape management etc.)
? Experience with Network Management (Network Ports, Link Aggregation, Virtual LANS, Network Interfaces, Fabric: Infiniband or Omni-path
? Familiarity with Scheduling Software: Moab or Torque
? Ability to perform various system administrative duties (log monitoring, print services, hardware and software support tech refreshes, imaging, configuration management, antivirus management, security certificate install and renewal)
? Familiarity with Storage (NetApp, NAS, or SAN), including storage efficiency (compression and de-duplication)
? Familiarity with Message Passing Interface (MPI)
? Familiarity with Virtualization (Cloud: OpenStack)
? Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows Server Operating Systems (GPO, AD, etc.
