Raytheon Blackbird Technologies is looking for a SiLK NetFlow / IPFIX Network Analyst who will join the cyber security team of a major nationwide organization, with thousands of sites, to continually improve its complex multi-protocol nationwide network. This job will be located in Falls Church, Virginia.
Position can be a G09 or G10 depending upon candidate qualifications.
Work within the CISO team of a large organization to promote knowledge of network analysis using SiLK.
Identify and develop new analysis, bash scripts, alerts, and visualizations to improve the future of the network security and performance.
Research problems and recommend solutions to improve visibility through NetFlow/IPFIX data analysis
Serve as a business enabler by providing insights to the Risk picture
Contribute analytic perspectives on improving the network infrastructure and the security architecture
Support development of analysis and visualizations in Splunk
Automate integration of threat data into analytic and visualization products
Contribute to SiLK analysis training for telecommunications and cybersecurity teams
The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization.
Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance ? Position of Public Trust ? and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
Experience with large organization networks

6-8+ years of IP network engineering or network analysis experience
4+ years of bash scripting experience

Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools, especially Excel and Visio
Must be able to travel between Washington DC and Falls Church (Merrifield) VA as required
Be able to support limited domestic travel (<5 %)
Splunk data integration, analysis, dashboard development, visualizations
Experience with statistical analytics product development and deployment (Threshold Random Walk, Bayesian
Logistic Regression etc.)
Python programming, preferably also PySiLK experience
Experience with cyber security development projects and programs for U.S. Government and/or commercial clients
Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Technical specialty such as cyber security, computer science, management information systems or related disciplines, or a technically related field; or equivalent related work experience in a multi-site software services environment, or related project management experience. Master's degree preferred.
