CSRA is currently looking for a Network Engineer in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Must have a current and active Secret clearance and able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Network Engineer in Kaiserslautern Germany:
Designs and plans Network systems.
Provides specifications and detailed schematics for Network architecture.
Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
Conducts testing of Network systems.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of Network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Evaluates and reports on new Network technologies to enhance capabilities of the Network.
Designs, supports, coordinates, controls or operates specialized components of a Network whether data, voice or video.
Conducts activities such as planning, coordinating, configuring, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and tuning devices on any given type of a Network infrastructure which might include routers, switches, gateways, firewall systems, multi-function switches, end offices, signaling transfer points, private branch exchanges, voice over - IP [VoIP], voice mail, call management systems [CMS] and Network security devices.
Interconnection of various networking devices via Fiber and CAT6 cabling. Organizing Network rooms and working with customer to upgrade Network equipment throughout Europe.
Successful candidates must be willing to travel through Europe.
Installs and maintains Network facilities, including hardware, software, and system data for small networks.
Performs data or voice Network configurations and configuration changes of various voice or data equipment.
Experience Interpreting design plans provided by the customer.
