Raytheon is looking for a creative, ambitious digital Marketing expert to lead the design and display of its Marketing channels. The ideal candidate has a clear vision on how a global aerospace, defense and cybersecurity company uses digital Marketing to support its mission. Specifically, we?re looking for a mastery of clean user interfaces and intuitive information architecture, an understanding of what makes content compelling, and smart ideas on the application of digital data. The person we?re looking for is always in search of the ?next big thing? in digital Marketing.
The Manager will work with developers, writers, and graphic designers to develop and implement a roadmap to evolve the digital face of Raytheon?s brand, all the while foraging ahead with our analytics experts to ensure our content is reaching its intended audiences. This includes collaborating across several teams to microtarget audiences, amplify content, increase web traffic and use continuous analysis of data to change strategy as needed.
We?re looking for someone with ideas and the ambition to get them started. We want a team player who is excited about the pace of change in digital and social communications. And we want someone who is constantly learning about the latest tools in design, web architecture and taxonomy.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage evolution of information architecture on Raytheon.com and associated domains. Ensure user flow is intuitive and supports messaging priorities of organization.
  • Bring Raytheon.com into its next phase of development, branding the company as a global leader in technology.
  • Act as an advisor, and serve as primary liaison between writers, IT team members and page designers. Act as primary point of contact for communications team members around the world.
  • Manage resources to maintain website standards, coordinate new pages and manage infrastructure projects.
  • Advance our data analytics capabilities specific to digital site traffic. Leverage SEO data to help evolve our search strategies. Guide team members in making information actionable.
  • Collaborate with vendors on development of new technologies and scripts. Assist vendors and IT with implementation strategy.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing digital properties, and a bachelor?s degree in a related Field or related work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience managing the web presence(s) for a global company.
  • Knowledge of web tools and technologies, design, architecture and taxonomy, as well as digital Marketing analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience applying evolving digital communications technologies to a strategic Marketing approach.
  • Proven experience driving and measuring online engagement ? as well as advising strategies based that data.
  • Demonstrated project management skills to oversee infrastructure projects in a decentralized organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and influence all levels of management.
  • Willingness to learn new skills constantly.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities while driving tasks to completion.

The Manager, digital Marketing strategy will be a member of Raytheon?s Global Business Services (GBS) - Advanced Media organization, directly supporting Raytheon?s Corporate Affairs & Communications team, and reporting to the company?s Senior Manager, Digital Content Strategy.
