Position Title Aerostat Senior Systems Specialist
Afghanistan - Bagram
URS/AECOM has an opening for an Aerostat Senior Systems Specialist . This position will be an 8-month assignment. It will be located in Elizabeth City, NC for the first 2 months of employment and then in Afghanistan for the remaining 6 months.
The Aerostat Senior Systems Specialist establishes complex operational databases, software configuration control and system interfaces for computer system(s) assigned.

Maintain file servers, network access, document and analyze system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
Prepares system for operational use and support operational tests.
Familiar with DoD ISR capabilities, assets and procedures.
Familiar with DoD ISR hardware/software and is able to troubleshoot, detect, analyze and report requirements as specified by the customer.
Experience should include supporting SOF programs and Special Projects.
Familiar with RDT&E practices, rapid prototyping, and fielding of DoD assets.
Familiar with PGSS/PTDS and/or Aerostat system support.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
At least 5 years of job-related experience.
Knowledge of DoD ISR capabilities, assets and procedures.
Experience working with DoD ISR hardware/software and is able to troubleshoot, detect, analyze and report requirements as specified by the customer.
Experience supporting SOF programs and Special Projects.
Knowledge of RDT&E practices, rapid prototyping, and fielding of DoD assets.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have a current, valid U.S. passport.
Must have an active, final Secret security clearance.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
Previous experience with PGSS/PTDS and/or Aerostat programs is preferred.
