Performs highly Complex and interpretive Financial analyses for assigned area. Presents analysis and recommendations to management. Acts as a leader to less experienced staff. Effectively leads small teams and works well with small ad-hoc project teams. Work proactively with operating and functional management to resolve analytical and control issues. Implement and enforce the Capital Investment Policy.
Description of Duties:
Prepare monthly Capital expenditure summary for Conagra Brands, including quarterly earnings release analysis
Facilitate and perform Capital project post audit process
Collaborate with corporate functions to request Capital investment funds
Perform duties and functions in the process of Capital management, including facilitate the preparation, review and approval of Capital investment requests
Facilitate Capital expenditure forecast updates, working with functional project managers
Prepare monthly Capital expenditure and depreciation forecasts
Coordinate and submit month-end accruals for Capital projects, according to company policy
Prepare monthly asset capitalizations and facilitate quarterly asset reviews
Manage accounting discussions to ensure projects accounted for according to GAAP, including determination between Capital and expense
Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance required
MBA or CPA/CMA certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of professional general business and Financial experience
Proven ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment
Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking skills
Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge
Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred
