Exciting opportunity in Raytheon Space and Airborne System’s (SAS) as an electrical engineer based in Dallas, Texas with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization. The engineer will have responsibility for the design, development, and deployment of Radio Frequency (RF) passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, RF transitions, etc.) and electromagnetic (EM) modeling. The engineer will reside within the Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) Antenna Products (AP) department headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The HWEC AP department is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions. The engineer will implement best practice standards with regard to the planning, coordination, and execution of RF passive circuit design and EM modeling with sound engineering process discipline and leadership. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation and experience in antenna engineering with specific knowledge in antenna radiators, RF manifolds, EM modeling techniques and associated best practice tools and processes.
Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Matlab, and AutoCAD.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related technical degree
Desired Education: Master’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related technical degree
