Job Description
Raytheon?s Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking a strong candidate, with an interest in a long term tenure in the position of Sr. Financial Analyst, providing Financial support and business management leadership to the RMS Facilities & Real Estate (F&RE) team.

This role requires independent work effort under the general direction of Facilities Finance management.

The chosen candidate will provide Financial guidance to GBS Facilities Leadership, and other stakeholders, by providing Financial analysis, including manpower planning, compliance, EAC development, and project management. The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment will be fundamental to success in this role and will help maximize the value to the organization. Business management covers a wide set of requirements, so a successful candidate will need to show flexibility in job abilities and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial management of all RMS Facilities sites. Coordinate with site's Facilities Leadership team member to help manage / control cost to meet yearly Financial targets. This includes cost budgeting, forecasting, multi-level reporting, cost audits, labor and manpower planning, work order analysis, and other duties as assigned. Analyst will be responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually deliverables.
  • Supports the Facilities Capital Coordinator and is responsible for working closely with Facilities Finance to manage the assets in facilities throughout the region, including initial AR development, planning, performance reviews, risk management and forecasting.
  • Review Estimates at Completion (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, monthly forecasts, and risks and opportunities.
  • Provide project management support for Complex, high value, projects by utilizing detailed analysis of all available budgets and cost data, developing Estimates at Completion (EACs), forecasts, and executing day to day Financial management tasks.
  • Provide cost reduction ideas and project support plus leadership based on personal expertise and experience


Required Skills:

  • Ability to provide leadership to a team in a fast paced environment that includes multiple working organizations. This would include team leadership of Financial and functional personnel
  • Ability to act in an independent role tasked to develop, update, and status Financial and performance metrics and analysis driven reports
  • Advanced skills in Finance, Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Advanced Analytical skills and the ability to become proficient with main-frame style business systems where vast amounts of data require mining and analysis
  • Experience in transforming customer requests from data to information
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems and all Microsoft Office tools, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Proven track record of customer focus and project management success

  • Ability to lead other analysts in a results oriented environment to develop solutions for Complex problems that will gain desired outcomes
  • The confidence and courage to effectively lead, present, and participate in large and small meetings and status sessions, even when having to provide bad news or disagree with management
  • Ability to teach and mentor other analysts
  • Understanding of production or similar schedule driven environment within a profit driven business based on practical experience
  • Strong focus on process improvement and advanced problem solving skills


Required Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in the field of Business, Finance, Management, Economics, Math or related discipline and 4 years of applicable experience gained in a business management or finance role in a large corporate environment

Desired Education:

  • MBA specializing in Finance, Business Management, or Project Management
