As a Contracts Manager you?re responsible for performing a full range of contract management activities in support of the Missile Defense Product Line. In this role, you?ll be integrated as part of the core AN/TPY-2 radar capture and execution teams and will support all aspects of various capture activities.
Your responsibilities will include developing strong internal and external customer relationships and providing creative approaches to addressing business needs. Your strengths include your ability to recognize contractual issues in program performance, recommend and implement solutions, prepare for and negotiate sound business deals with customers and provide governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract. You?re a collaborative independent thinker who will assist the program leads in formulating and executing business strategies to reduce risk, enhance customer satisfaction and support the generation of additional or new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Participation in front-end assessments of new business pursuits; analysis of requests for proposals (RFPs)
Providing business and Contracts guidance to program team during proposal and contract execution phases
Proposal reviews and coordination; contract negotiation and general contract management
Serving as subject matter expert for interpreting acquisition regulations and contract requirements
Serving as the formal business interface with external and internal customers on programmatic issues
This individual is a valued member of their program teams and the Contracts functional team and will report to a Sr. Manager, Contracts located in Woburn, MA.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
8+ years of experience in Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management, Project Management, Engineering or Legal
Experience managing Contracts
Ability to travel required (<10%)
US Citizenship is required
Experience in supporting front-end strategic assessment of business pursuits, in developing negotiation strategy, and leading customer negotiations to achieve company desired results
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) and/or equivalent government regulations
Experience interfacing with U.S Government customers and/or other large defense contractors
Knowledge and experience with the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS)
Experience with various contract types (e.g. FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPAF, CPFF, T&M)
Awareness of ITAR and export licensing requirements; experience with various contract types
Strong knowledge of company policies and procedures
NCMA certification (CPCM or CFCM)
Experience researching compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and formulating recommendations to management
Demonstrated success in building strong customer relationships
Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions
Effective negotiation skills
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal) and computer skills
Capable of multi-tasking while meeting deadlines
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
