The Electronics Technician II will install, inspect, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electronic equipment. Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action. Work as a ?team member? to operate and maintain an environment for soldiers to train on a live-fire range complex. Familiar with Electronics, common woodworking, and automotive tools plus general maintenance practices and procedures.
2 Year of related work experience
Installation and repair of communications and audio/visual hardware.
?Run? wire and fiber optic cables.
Troubleshoot electronic systems.
Repair/replace faulty connectors to surveillance cameras, motion detectors, remote speakers, microphones, and switchers.
Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, and oscilloscopes.
Provide written input for periodic reports.
Use the MAXIMO program (after training class) to log work orders and initiate procurement requests to replace parts and materials used.
Prepare an After-Action-Review Briefing presented in the AAR Theater.
Prepare Audio/Visual Take-Home Packages.
Required Physical Abilities:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, as appropriate.
Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind) and at heights (towers and phone poles).
Must be able to work non-standard workweeks, any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Must be able to operate company-owned vehicles during duty hours and for business purposes only when assigned by a member of the management team.
Must be able to obtain a valid driver?s license and maintain post driving privileges.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Raytheon Management Team in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction.
Must be willing to perform duties at other Warrior Training Alliance locations worldwide, as required.
Will be required to work in compliance with OSHA and the Company?s safety policies and procedures, as appropriate.
Required Education (including Major): High School Diploma. Vocational / Technical Certification in Electronic repair or equivalent experience preferable.
