This is a temporary position for an estimated duration of 1 year.
The RMS IT Service Integration group is looking for a highly motivated, business-focused IT Project Manager.
This position will lead high visibility internal technology projects in a fast paced environment. Using our corporate Project management processes and methods, the Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams and participate on multi-business teams; collaborating at all levels of the enterprise to ensure Project success and satisfied stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing the Project, and enabling the internal customer organization to achieve their objectives and realize business value.
Lead the integration of new service capabilities to ensure business requirements and expectations are met as defined in the service strategy and design phases
Lead and/or direct one or more Project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations
Manage cross-functional Project teams; coordinate and control team activities, including technical implementation tasks, process reengineering, and organizational change activities to achieve desired results
Prepare Project execution plans and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meet technical requirements, and achieve business objectives
Identify and implement improvements for the planning and execution of development to sustainment activities
Identify and engage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful Project execution
Follow established detailed processes and procedures, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Raytheon?s Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
Lead regular Project reviews with customers and stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders
4+ years of IT Project Management experience
Proficient use of Microsoft applications (i.e., Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience working with technical teams to define and implement IT solution architectures, including software development, software configuration and integration, and IT infrastructure implementations
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
Proven ability to influence and work across multiple organizations and levels, as well as across multiple geographic regions
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interface with internal customers, management and outside vendors
Skill leading and participating in virtual meetings
Must be willing and able to travel as required
Experience managing IT projects using Raytheon IT IPDS
Formal Project management methodologies, including EVMS
Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool
Project Management certification (PMP)
Six Sigma certification
ITIL or other service management certifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education IT certifications and experience in IT Project Management leading significant business transformation technology projects
REQUIRED CLEARANCE: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a DoD Interim security clearance at a future date. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
