The Enterprise Operations and Security Services (EOSS) program that supports the Army National Guard (ARNG) is seeking A Senior Systems Administrator to provide day to day support for ARNGs mission and its 500+ servers. The position will have A strong focus on customer and backend System support including: Administration and configuration for physical and virtual Windows servers, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, and 2016. The Sr. Administrator will also assist in the availability, reliability, and security of future Guard Bureau IT systems. Other duties and tasks include SAN administration, fiber channel network administration, Active Directory Administration, Windows Server administration and end user support. The Sr. Windows Administrator provides operation and maintenance support to the Application Management Tech Lead in support of customer and application owner engagement activities.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 2016 Servers within Production, Pre-production and COOP environments.
Perform Windows OS and application updates as needed within Production, Pre-production and COOP environments.
Apply/implement IAVMs, STIGs, bug fixes, security patches/controls, and access controls across multiple platforms.
Monitor servers and gather performance data for analysis.
Perform utilization analysis on existing servers and provide recommendations for upgrades, modification, replacement and/or additions.
Perform repairs, upgrades, modifications as required.
Perform System testing and troubleshooting of servers as required.
Develop and maintain server and software services administration, start-up, stop, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Create and maintain server templates.
Maintain and administer HP and EMC EVA and 3PAR SAN hardware and fiber switches.
Support CommVault and EMC Data Domain Backup administration.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to document System configurations.
Occasional On-Call required.
