Job Description:
RVS SCM MPM team member supporting multiple programs. Serves as the liaison between Supply Chain and program IPT(s). Creates, manages and executes material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP) to ensure program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure. Provides comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensures IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable. Key activities typically include: financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, material forecasts, etc.); overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the MB/MW strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager (CAM). Working at the front end of the business, the MPM identifies and secures Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manages the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline.

May assist on departmental special projects where assigned. Will have frequent contact with multiple level managers and customer representatives concerning projects, programs, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications and support. Will conduct and participate in meetings and briefings for internal and external representatives. Maintains assigned work area and supports company safety and ethics standards. Must be a highly motivated individual willing to work the time necessary to complete assigned duties with minimal management oversight. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Required Skills:

  • 2 years of progressive professional experience with experience in Project, Program, Product, Production Control, Finance or Supplier Management is required.
  • Monthly forecasting/reporting and measuring the ETC/VAC to AOP.
  • R&Os, weekly metrics, Material Program Plan and monthly management reviews. Identifying and mitigating program risks; support weekly supplier meetings.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working with production control, operations, procurement, and supplier engineering to ensure purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier deliveries meet program demand.
  • Must be organized with the ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects, resolving Supply Chain issues for the program.
  • Supporting supply chain proposal inputs
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications EXCEL, Word, Power Point, Project.
  • Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role.

Required Education:
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar is required.

Desired Education / Skills
  • Master?s Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar field.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience within an automated Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
  • Knowledge of SAP manufacturing system.
  • Experience and working knowledge of FAR/DFAR Regulations.
  • Able to travel, occasional shift or weekend work may be required.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Able to recognize and resolve problems.
  • Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development and production.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform.
  • Knowledge and application of Six Sigma fundamentals and processes
