Ultra Defense Corp (UDC USA, Inc) is looking for a Future Munition Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), Product Manager Large Caliber (PdM LC) for the Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV) Cross Functional Team (CFT) at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Although the position is based at Fort Benning, extensive travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

● Provides support as Large Caliber liaison on the Next Generation Combat Vehicles (NGCV) Cross Functional Team (CFT).
● Advises the CFT on current and projected future direct fire munitions capabilities in close coordination with representatives from Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS), Armaments Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), and Army Research Labs (ARL).
● Analyzes and communicates potential impacts of requirements decisions to cost, schedule, and performance of future ammunition programs.
● Provides subject matter expertise of direct fire capabilities to support NGCV Technology Development Strategy, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and Capability Based Assessment (CBA).
● Informs modeling and war gaming activities to ensure realistic and relevant inclusion of direct fire capabilities.
● Keeps PdM LC and subordinate product offices informed of NGCV program schedule in order to facilitate parallel planning of necessary munitions development.
● Presents PdM LC briefings to appropriate decision authorities in coordination with NGCV activities.
● In coordination with PdM LC, maintains awareness of emerging munitions technologies to inform NGCV lethality capability decisions.
● Supports early test and evaluation events in support of NGCV assessments.
● Performs review and recommend responses for NGCV program documentation from the PdM LC perspective.
● Coordinates with Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE) offices, including the NGCV CFT, TCM ABCT, and TCM IBCT when impacted by emerging and fielding Large Caliber capabilities in order to identify and address doctrine and training impacts.


Master Gunner experience desired. Candidates with large caliber ammunition engineering experience or applicable technical experience will be considered.
