Raytheon Blackbird Technologies is looking for an experienced Systems/Network Engineer who will join the security team of a major nationwide organization, with thousands of sites, to continually improve its complex multi-protocol nationwide network.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Application of change control processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Certification in one or more of; Windows, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certificate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified, Networking Professional (CCNP), or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
  • Skilled Communicator ? Facilitator; able to engage and interact with all organizational/cultural levels.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and engineering for Windows, *nux, and Cisco.
  • Must have at minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization.

Desired Skills:


  • Experience with cyber security development projects and programs for U.S. Government and/or commercial clients
  • Demonstrable awareness of Splunk reporting (preferred).
  • Complete change control assessments
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Integrate change control activities into project plan
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Experience and knowledge of change control principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Change management certification or designation desired

Required Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a related field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.

Desired Certifications:
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level II;
CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), CISM, CRISC, GCIA, ISSEP, ISSMP, GCIH, GCFA, CSLC
