Senior Manager, Program Management, Medium Range Air Defense Systems, Sensor IPT
As part of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Integrated Business Team, the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) System team fulfills cradle to grave responsibilities for delivering the world?s most advanced air and missile defense systems globally. Within the MRAD Product Line, the Sensors Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader will be responsible for leading IPT efforts across a wide spectrum of Sensor product areas. This senior leader will be required to integrate and deconflict complex schedules across a challenging spectrum of diverse domestic and international programs, contracts, customers, users, and suppliers.
The Sensor IPT Lead will drive flawless execution across the product area including development, production, and sustainment product phases. This lead will be responsible for assuring quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency of MRAD Sensor systems and components in accordance with contract requirements and with the planned budget and schedule. This position requires broad-based skills in leading a cross disciplined team, including design engineering, specialty engineering, test engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations, in successful execution of FMS and DCS program requirements. This leader will also be responsible for overseeing the IPT support of new business pursuits including tailoring of Sensor solutions and acquisition strategies. He/she will also be responsible for establishing/maintaining an effective relationship with customer counterparts in the USG including, in particular, applicable technical leads with NASAMS / HAWK acquisition oversight responsibility. Effective relationships with technical counterparts across the NASAMS / HAWK customer base and with Raytheon partners for Sensor equipment supplies and services must also be established/maintained. The candidate will apply disciplined program management processes and tools and will regularly interact with senior Raytheon leadership on strategy, status and direction. This leader will also be responsible for the MRAD Sensor product roadmap.
·10 + years of relevant project management experience, preferably for air defense systems, or equivalent
·Experience managing production programs with significant subcontract content
·Experience implementing, EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, and IMP/IMS
·Experience with IPDS
·Experience in managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for a large program
·Direct experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking to cost and schedule
·Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing and diverse teams
·Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative fashion with diverse teams
·Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
·Experience working on missile products
·Experience working on the Medium Range Air Defense Systems (NASAMS, HAWK)
·Experience with managing through organizational change and rapid growth
·Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
·PMX Level 2 or higher
·Ability to work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment with time critical requirements
·Strong communication skills
·B.S. / B.A. in Engineering, Science or Mathematics or equivalent
