General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is in search of a Remedy ITSM Systems Engineer with technical expertise in BSM Remedy to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Service Integration and Delivery (SID) Team. The DISA SID Team provides expert consulting and premium level support to DISA?s ERP mission partners including the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Production Operations and Applications Sustainment, Microsoft Windows System Administration, Tivoli, Splunk, and other enterprise monitoring tools, and experience with BMC Remedy ITSM. Understanding of Information Technology Library (ITIL) framework for service delivery is also required.

As the Remedy ITSM Systems Engineer, you will

  • Provide non-personal services in support of the DISA Enterprise Premium Services ITSM Remedy system.
  • Provide engineering, test and evaluation, training material updates, integration and sustainment support, configuration management, and life-cycle support of the EPC-ITSM.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the Remedy AR System and Remedy Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) capability including all core modules: Service Desk, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Asset Management.
  • Provide Operational Engineering support in the Remedy Service Level Management (SLM), Service Request Management (SRM), Remedy Analytics, and Remedy Knowledge Management (RKM) modules as well as BMC Remedy Analytics and Dashboards.
  • Maintain standard baseline configuration within the EPC-ITSM Test environment throughout system lifecycle (all changes to the core architecture standard baseline configuration must go through the approved Configuration Manager process).
  • Initiate system Requests for Change (CRQ) as necessary and support the CM processes and perform tests of proposed changes (such as patching), and develop and test release packages within 30 days of tasking.
  • Provide support to operational organizations supporting RFCs and Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) compliance.


Requirements

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work remotely full-time.
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field + 2 yrs related experience, or MS + 0 yrs experience
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
