GDIT is looking for a talented cyber candidate to instruct students in the arena of Windows, Networking, and Security. Topics covered will include the Windows command-line interface, Active Directory, networking in a Windows environment, name resolution, Windows registry, processes, NTFS, the Windows boot process, Access Control and Execution Prevention, resource protection, auditing, tactical surveys.  The trainer should have a strong understanding and experience with a Windows environment and its associated operation. He or She should have in depth knowledge of networking to include IP headers, packet filtering, service and network discovery, file transfers and tunneling.  The instructor should also have a firm grasp on various security concepts and experience using Metasploit. He or she should be a self-directed, quick learner who can translate and distill complex content into a student-focused and rigidly-assessed instructional offering. Superb analysis and listening/communication skills, an adaptive outlook, and an eye for new approaches to instruction and its many facets are also required. The instruction of these courses will be conducted on-site in Pensacola, FL.

Desired Experience:     

         3-5 years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator

         Experience working in a cyber range

         Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and learners, and facilitating effective working relationships with varied levels of employees

         Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

         Ability to work independently and/or as part of a creative team

         Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

         Ability to quickly take in large amounts of information and reduce to teachable segments

         Strong communication skills to develop training programs and procedures


Required Certifications: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II
