Job Description:

The
Warehouse and Transformation Department Manager within Supply Chain Logistics will report directly to the Sr. Manger, Logistics. This role will be responsible for the planning and execution of all warehouse and transformation activities for RMS Logistics. This person will contribute to a fast paced innovative team and work closely with Logistics and Property Functional Management, Program Leadership, and Production Control. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with these functions to develop and implement strategic goals, influence system solutions, facilitate forward thinking initiatives to include streamlining and integrating processes, incorporate best-in-class and reliable solutions for customer and enterprise solutions.



Responsibilities Include:

  • Transform the organization to become both a forward program deployed organization as well as system compliant ensuring effective property management

  • Assess Product Line and Program Asset Management requirements ensuring comprehensive Property management throughout the contract life-cycle

  • Develop and deploy Asset Managers including on-boarding and training programs consistent with FAR requirements

  • Manage program Asset Managers to ensure government property (all owned or leased by the government) is property accounted for throughout contract period of performance including close-out activities

  • Develop relationships with Program Leadership in order to address property processes, identify risks and provide compliant and business efficient solutions

  • Consistently display effective communication and leadership behaviors during times of change

  • Responsibility for developing future leaders and successors within the organization



Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience encompassing a strong working knowledge of Logistics and Property Management theory as well as experience in the Logistics, Property, Operations, Supply Chain or Program functions

  • Proven leader in a cross-functional, matrix environment, with strong influential communication, decision making, strategic hiring and organizational leadership skills

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources

  • Leadership skills to motivate employees while driving change

  • Experience managing multiple priorities

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and ability to comprehend, implement and explain complex policies and processes

  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills; ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others; keen attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software programs

Desired Skills:

  • Desired candidate will exhibit an executive presence and be able to effectively communicate with program managers and directors, customer representatives, functional leadership and government agencies related to Property activities

  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and urgent requests to ensure that RMS business needs are met

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers and team members

  • Experience in the government property and FAR compliance areas

  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements, Sarbanes Oxley

  • Established networks with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality

Required Education:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management

  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance
