Japan Program Manager II, Japan Patriot Spares
Job Description: The Japan Patriot Spares Program Manager is responsible for the successful spares program management to assure flawless execution thru the CET & JCF, managing development of the additional JCAs & export tasks associated with that scope of work, driving opportunities to accelerate sales both internally and with the customer, and teaming with the customer to identify additional spares/piece part sales opportunities.
The Japan Patriot Spares Program Manager will be responsible for the overall execution of approximately $200M of sales, 5-year plan.
This position requires an individual who has worked in a production environment, who has the ability to offer solutions to the customer and to resolve any technical issues that are identified. This individual will need to have a close working relationship with the Patriot Core Execution Team as well as Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and the Japan Central Facility.
The Japan Patriot Spares Program Manager will work closely with Japan Industry, the licensed co-producer of the Patriot System. The prime contractor for Patriot is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Position requires significant interaction and communication with over 10 partners and Japan Industry. In addition to the Japan Industry interaction, significant coordination with the program trading partner, Mitsubishi Corporation, will be required.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, supporting contract negotiations by analyzing delivery gaps, reviewing obsolescence and providing the customers with deliveries that support their needs. Position provides continuous support of Japan?s Annual Service Practice, Program Reviews (Domestic and in Japan), IESP/FSP and any other conferences or meetings that requires our support.
This Position can be either a G10 or G11 based on Successful candidates qualifications.
