Job Description:
This position will report directly to the IIS Senior Program Manager as part of the sustainment support team for the Contractor Logistics Support program, and will provide operational and logistical support to the program requirements to maximize operational availability of a family of strategic missile defense sensors and weapon systems deployed across the globe. This person will be expected to pull and read technical drawings from the company repository and extract procurement requirements to facilitate material demands. Additionally, this role will develop and present status and Project briefings to program leadership clients. Some domestic and international travel is required.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read technical and contractual specifications and translate them into actionable steps for quality and legal compliance, and to execute the steps to completion.
  • Critical thinker who can develop and implement solutions to logistics engineering and administrative challenges.
  • Awareness of EV (Earned Value) fundamentals, to become certified within 6 Months.
  • Technical capability to become a certified Sub-contract Manager within 6 Months.
  • Two years of experience in supply chain, technical information, engineering, or related functional discipline.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance level.

Required Education (including Major):

Undergraduate degree, in engineering or technical discipline
