DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as project engineer planning, troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting advanced work in specialty for high voltage electrical distribution systems; electrical system load and short-circuit studies; instrumentation, and control systems; power and lighting systems, fire detection systems, cathodic protection systems, isolated and emergency power systems, and other unique electrical / electronic systems used in support of the facility.
Ensures compliance with established standards, guides, precedents, methods, and techniques within discipline.
Establishes electrical and electronic engineering design criteria and provides guidance and evaluation for facility projects.
Functions as technical representative within discipline.
Provides technical expertise in regards to root cause analysis for electrical systems.
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Works inside and outside in various weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat.
Constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related scientific field, coupled with 5
year?s job-related experience; or equivalent.
Currently holds or ability to successfully obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Good communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
